Session 1: Turning our church outward: 8 Steps Toward an Embedded Tomorrow - One common trait of churches that are growing in numbers and growing disciples is an emphasis on outward focus. As a pastor of a ministry that is living out the embedded church model, Matt Roberts will share how his leadership team has been able to establish a new culture and engage with their community in new and exciting ways through the integration of 7-day-a-week business. This session will challenge you to ask the question "Is our church moved by and invested in what we believe?



Session 2: The Keys to Developing an Embedded Church Facility - Your community is your mission field. Does your building reflect a ministry outpost or a religious museum? Let's reimagine the true purpose of church facilities and explore how they can be designed to be more effective ministry tools that meet the needs of the community 7 days a week. Hear from Architect Don Mahoney and others on the Building God's Way team, an organization that has designed more than 800 ministry facilities nationwide. Learn about the latest design strategies that can be customized to any ministry size or type, including new construction, remodel and adaptive re-use of existing commercial buildings. 


Session 3: Creating a Financially Sustainable Ministry - Discover how churches across the country are successfully integrating financially sustainable business models that can help free them from debt service to have a greater impact on their community and the Kingdom of God. Hear from a team with a deep level of experience in all real estate development disciplines across multiple sectors – hospitality, child-care, residential, senior housing, office, institutional, and retail.
